is it possible to save jpgs at 300dpi
if so, how is it done in photoshop (cs5)

You can easily, but not through "save for web and devices" (Which strips it back to 72).

Just 'save as jpg' ;) (assume it's already at 300DPI?)

Of course JPG is a lossy format, so ideally you'd save it as a TIF if you want to maintain 100% quality with no loss - I guess it depends on what you need it for?

ok silly me! i didn't think to just save as :)
yes i know it's lossy, but it's for a printer and they wanted a jpg at 300dpi.
i offered them a tiff and they didn't want it.
