Can anyone recommend a Flash banner generator?

I used to use a flash banner generator which was available free on the web. It let you type in some text, choose an effect etc. and it created a 468 x 60 "Flash" advertising banner, without any technical knowledge. Unfortunately I seem to have lost the bookmark for this, anyone know what the site is?

I've tried a google search but the ones that claim that they are free actually don't seem to be. For me, Flash is such a pain and this generator allowed me to create some amazing banners in seconds!

Would it have been SWISH? It's not exactly a pure banner ad generator, but it's fairly simple to use...

It wasn't that one, but it certainly looks like it will do the job. Thanks BlobFisk!

Happened upon a couple more that may be useful to you:

  • Anim-FX 1.30

  • Boomer 4.0

Are there ane free online tools that can handle flash banner generation though?

In general, we try to avoid dropping links to commercial products on WebmasterWorld, because it leads to commercial vendors and affiliates coming in and trying to use the forums to promote their own products...

...so, while recommending a program by name, based on your personal experience with it, in the context of an informative post may be OK when someone is looking for graphics tools, just dropping links to every product that might fit the bill really doesn't do much for developing quality content on the boards. ;)

    Thanks for understanding!

    Apologies for the URL drops.

I have yet to see an online banner generator - certainly not a flash one... I'd be interested to hear if there are any floating around there?
