I've been looking at all those lovely font resources... But if I buy them, how do I get them into Fireworks? There's nothing in the manual about it, and I can't find anything in the menus that sounds like adding fonts.

Simply installing them on your system will make them available to use in Fireworks.

Yep, that's all there is to it - remember to properly 'install' the new fonts rather than just copying and pasting them into your font directory though :)

How do you do that then? I've always just plonked them in the fonts directory with no trouble?

I tried that once and none of the fonts showed up so I had to 'install' the fonts.
On Windows in the font directory, click file > install new font then point to the folder where your new fonts are then 'ok' to import/install them.

I think if you just plunk them in there some applications won't see them until you restart. When I drop fonts into my font folder I always restart.
