What graphics programs do you have? Any of them will have to option to open a file resize image, then SAVE AS a different file name (so you don't kill the original resolution.)

I got it all , the press release is alive and well, I do not have a graphics program

You can get "the gimp" for Mac?
It is a bit of a learning curve, but the documentation and help files are great.
