remember in photoshop, version..? you could eith CTRL or ALT click the layer in the layers menu and it would put a selection around that object of that layer?

it doesnt do that anymore... does anyone know if there is a new shortcut to do this?

Control + click should still work.

nope, it just highlights or un-highlights the layer in the layers window. does not put a selection about the object....

not on a Mac either.... i wonder if they removed that shortcut.

Make sure Auto-select "layer" is checked at top of window.

You need to click on the thumbnail in the layer window, not the part where the name is, on a Mac it's command-click.

although i swore i tried that...
