Any idea where i can find good marcomedia director tutorials? Most prefreeably free. or cheap nd for beginners.

There should be a samples directory in the installation directory of Director, and some tut's in the Help menu of Director.

Since MM is now Adobe, you will find relevant tut's on the Adobe site, too. Try the Director Center:

Slowing getting on my feet with macromedia director...

I have tried to search for forums where i can ask questions on the use of macromedia director but have not found comprehensive ones. Would you know of any, please advice which one.
