fading effect in corel?

how do i create fading effect in corel.
like in image on<snip>-phto of the library.
and how do i make it fade in different colors.

I don't use Corel, but the process of fades are fairly standardised across most image manipulating software.

I'd typically use Fireworks to do as I like the way it handles transparent shades:

Open image

Draw box to cover image

Fill box with gradient

choose the same colour for both ends of gradient

Make one end transparent

Tinker with the gradient direction and length till you have a satisfactory blend

In Photoshop:

Open Image

Create new layer

Select entire image area

Choose the gradient tool and edit the transparency swatch to suit your fill

Apply gradient tool to new layer until effect is achieved
