I have QuarkXPress 4.1 but it hasn't been used in a while. I have a file on a CD. The file is named 2004EnglishBWpgs.qrk created on 4/4/2005 that I would like to edit, but it won't open on the MAC. Is it possible that my version of QuarkXPress is to old? Any suggestions? I also have Windows PC that could be used if it will help.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Elder_EMPEY!

QuarkXPress is to old?

Most likely the cause. If that document was created in Quark 5, you won't be able to open it with Quark 4.

You could always have someone with Quark 5 save it down to 4.

Welcome aboard Elder! Do you use Pagemaker at all? My version of that is pretty old, but Adobe *used* to have a Quark importer extension and it was free, they may still have.

Sorry, 's all I got. :-/
