Forum Moderators: not2easy
I've used them for years, but I've never pursued them as a means of branding. Granted, it wouldn't be to difficult to come up with one that is "on logo/theme" within your site, but I'm stuck on how to do that.
The problem is how to use it as branding by using some sort of logo or design element that fits in with the rest of the site, yet looks like it is the end.
Do you have any examples or ideas on how to do that?
But I'd think, due to the similar small size requirments, if you designed an favicon.ico graphic for windows bookmarks, it would be perfect for an "article end" bullet... Then place it (after a <br>) directly below the final line of the text.
Using the favicon.ico graphic would lend a very subtle element of 'coordination' to the site (in the eyes of Win/IE users), and would be recognizable to magazine readers as a regular "end of article" bullet.
