Hi Amy

How large is the file? or how frequent the action?

Unfortunately I have not seen any decent conversion software from PDF to HTML.

It might be easiest to copy the PDF's content into your own HTML file. You can then extract the images from the PDF - search for 'PDF image extraction' and you'll find some freebies that do a good job.

Hi Limbo,

I just checked the file and it says it is 2.1 MB

Now what do I do?

Hi Amy - sorry I didn't explain my self very clearly - whan I asked how large the file was I was referring to page size - if it was a few pages - manually recomposing it might be a safe way to go. But to do that for, say, a 200 page document, is obviusly not going to be time efficient.

So, is it long or a short document? :)

Plus, I have access to the text here, I can recreate it, it's just that it looks very pretty with the graphics around it so I thought it would be nice for my site.

Open the PDF, take a screenshot with the image on the screen, cut out in Photoshop.

Use a Mac Paint program. Open, New File, Paste, crop aroud the image, save as JPG.

You might want to look at

MacGSView - GhostScript / GhostView
[cs.wisc.edu...]

It's a PostScript interpreter for MAC. It can be used to open .PDF files and convert or extract the contents to other formats. I've used the WIN/PC version for a couple years.

The hardest thing is figuring out how to specify a Post Script printer driver, (even if you don't own one, you need to pick one for GS's printer driver), and tell it to send the output to "FILE:" (instead of printer port).

It may be easier on a MAC...
