hi,

i see different photo orientation (90º rotation) between the filmstrip view of windows explorer and the thumbnail view in ThumbsPlus or when i open digital photos in Adobe Photoshop.

when processing the photos using imagemagick to create a web gallery, it turns out that the windows explorer orientation is the correct one.

does anyone know why thumbs plus and photoshop should be rotating the images?

cheers

i have since found out, thumbs plus rotates the images according to the EXIF information.

i am now looking at ways to detect this and use imagemagick to rotate accordingly.

hope this helps someone in future
