corel problem

I've got the following problem: I make a page say 100X100 px in Corel. then i put an image sized 10X10 px in. When i try to export this page, my image is getting spread all over this page if i set my page size option to 100X100, or the page cuts to the size of an image if i set it 1:1...
Is there any wayout of this?

So you want to maintain the "white space" around the image when you export the file?

Does corel have a "paint bucket" tool or something similar where you could fill in the emplty space with your choice of background color?

Yeah. right i want to have this 'white' space around and i can set up a background color in page preferences, but it doesnt help...
I've used to solve this problem by drawing rectengular over the page, but it is not easy to work then...

No, not a preferences background color... Does Corel have an actual "paint bucket" type tool used for filling in a large area with a single color? I think if you filled in the area surrounding your image (on the same "layer" as the image itself), it should allow you to export it with the white space intact, as it will see the surrounding area as a solid color rather than a transparent, empty "background" area.

I've never used corel, but based on the other paint programs I've used, that might work.
