Anyone know how I can use the cursor/eyedropper/etc in Photoshop to determine the hexadecimal color code (ie. #FFFFFF) using Photoshop? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi SEOdevhead,

Its pretty easy to use an eyedropper to determine the hex code of a color in Photoshop. The steps are :

1. Open an image and spot the color.
2. Select the color picker tool from the 'tools'.
3. Now click over the color(this color becomes your foreground color).

If you dont have an image proceed from here onwards:
4. Click on the foregroud color and color picker box opens.
5. You get the corresponding hex code from the # box. (Play with the zillions of color untill you get the one you are looking for.)

if you are looking for value of a color on a particular layer, hide all other layers and repeat the steps above
