We have hundreds (probably 1000 to 1500) slides that we need to scan. Flatbed scanners obviously give less than desirable results (like, totally horrible). A lot of these are of historical value to our company, and a lot we will probably use on our website.
We don't need super resolution, something that would give us a typical high quality 400x600 web image.
I see prices range from $200 to $4500 - so there is obviously a wide range out there.
Scan speed is an issue, but not a major one - if we can get 10-20 per hour would be OK.
Any recommendations - or recommendations on what NOT to buy?
