Hey everyone,

I'm used to using Photoshop but I no longer have it and I don't want to spend the cash to buy it.

I was curious if anyone knows of a good digital imaging/image editing software. I heard the GIMP for linux is good and can be used on Windows but I was curious if there is any other software suites out there similar to Photoshop.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Looking for the same for a client. One program I found is PhotoPlus 6, haven't tried it yet but will in the near future.

As above - you need the GIMP:

I used to use Gimp, but now I use PhotoPlus 8, less overhead, and I had off and on problems with gimp installations, plenty of features, not free but cheap, I think one of the earlier version can be had for free, not sure.

Great! Thank you for your replies.

I found a photoshop 5 CD. So I will be installing that but I'm going to try using the Gimp.

I will try to find a free version of PhotoPlus as well.

Thanks again!
