I have a problem with jpg's & gifs I create, they look great when viewed from my PC but when I upload to my site the look really pixelated.

I create them with a 300dpi res, save then with high quality jpg setting but they still look cr*p.

whats the go?

Well, the dpi setting is just something in your graphics editing for a printer output. It hasn't got a great deal to do with the image file.

The best way to see what is going on is to use MSPaint (I assume you are on a PC?)

MSPaint is a really simple program that opens images 'as they really are' If your picture looks OK in that, there is nothing wrong with the file.

That can happen if you upload images in ASCII mode. Make sure you're uploading them in binary mode.
