I am creating this top navigation bar. There are these lines that I want to create as intersecting lines between categories, but I can't seem to get the effect I want. I want it to look like this site:

<Sorry, no example links>

Does anyone know how its done? Please let me know.

Thank you.

What have/haven't you tried? Have you tried?
If so, what problems are you running into?

Which program(s) are you using?

How closely have you looked at the image that is in your example?

If you were to copy and paste it into a graphics editing program, and zoomed in you could see for yourself exactly how this effect is achieved. Usually the simplest way of showing indented lines, is:

1. choose a background colour
2. choose a colour darker than the background colour, and make a vertical 1px-wide line.
3. choose a colour that is lighter than the background colour, and make a vertical 1px-wide line, directly next to the prvious line you made.

hope this helps. If I'm off-base as to what you're looking for be as specific as possible.

also, please take a look at the Forum Charter, as links are not allowed.

Thanks for letting me know about posting links. Are you sure this is going to work. Is this a technique yyou tried? Did you see the example I showed? I am using hotosahop to create this.

Please let me know if you think this will work or if you have any other suggestions.

Thank you.
