Anyone know of a good source of travel images? I'm especially looking for European cities and hotels.

Did you try browsing by categories on images banks such as comstock.com?
Even better, type "free travel images" in the search box of your favorite search engine. ;)

Try writing to the visitors/tourism bureaus of areas you would like photos of... since it's their job to promote their regions, they may have images you can use in exchange for a small credit line.
