I am using a program that supports a jpeg as a hyperlink but the problem is the jpegs are too large. Is there a program that I can run that automatically creates thumbnails for them. My site is hosted if that makes a difference.

If you have a decent image editor - batch processing images is not a problem for most.

If you need to do it automatically from a database you can use PHP.

Maybe I am not understanding.... I want the user to be able to upload this file and I want my server to automatically create a thumbnail of that image and use it for a link.

Hi 66moneypit,
I assume you are talking about a gallery software. These usually have a configuration setting that you can set for the size of the thumbnail, at least the one that I use does. You can sticky me if you would like the name.

as limbo mentioned you could do this with php

we happen to have one in the PHP Library
[webmasterworld.com...] msg 29

this would take some technical knowledge to set up though and may not be an option

there is a lot of software out there that will do this as well. Try [hotscripts.com...] or there are complete packages such as [gallery.menalto.com...]
