Timelapse Webcam setup

Need info on adding a webcam to a site

Happy Holidays to all.
We have a new client that wants to add a webcam to his site but only wants it to show an image taken once a day (because of legal concerns). He then wants the ability (when the project is finished) to replay all the images in sequence time-lapse style. Has anybody done this and what is the best way?

You would simply want to save each of the webcam captures with a sequential filename (pic1, pic2 pic3, etc.) and then add those files to an array that would be played back in the format of your choosing. A lot of the off the shelf webcam software will save sequential pictures for you. Compiling the photos to be played back as a time-lapse movie or animated JPEG sequence might even be done by the same software.
