What software do I need to purchase to allow Microsoft Word documents (Family Histories)combined with Pics and Graphics to be converted to Images for transfer to viewable DVD.

What about using Word's 'Save As' Html option. My ancient Word 97 produces horrible html but it seems to work.

If its for a DVD you could use 100% images > smooth screen fonts, set the word document up so you can see each page with plenty of margin then Print Screen and paste into a image editor to crop like gimp or irfanview (botrh free)
Is this to be a pro presentation? for your company? If so I'd would definitely ditch Word and get it done using director or flash.
