i am in web development but i haven't worked with sound files much. I have CDs that i need to convert to a sound file format that i can incorporate in a link list on a web page. Can any body steer me in the right direction?

which formats were you thinking of?
cdex is an open source program that can easily convert your cd's to mp3 format
if you need real media or windows media you can find the free (official) conversion programs on their websites

hi stef25, I will have a link list on web page. I think I will need to convert the files from the cd to .wav format. That's what I am thinking anyway but I am new at working with sound files. I have to get the audio files of the cd, put them in a format that people coming to their web site can click on a link like "Radio show 8/30/05, Radio show 8/29/05 etc" Thanks
