I need to convert a image file to a .js file. I've heard this done before, but not sure what program I need to use, and what I need to do. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks,

I don't think I understand your post correctly... You want to take an image (we'll call it example.jpg) and convert example.jpg into example.js? If that is what you are saying then I don't think it's possible. I will not dispute concretely what I have never researched, but this sounds (forgive me if this sounds forward) a bit outlandish to me.

Maybe I am mis-reading the post ... Perhaps .js is a type of image file extension and not meaning JavaScript?

Could you please elaborate for us?

Nope, that is what I want to do. For what I am working with is completely .JS based. Therefore, I need a way to make certain images on my site loading into a .JS file. Could I place an image in a .JS file to call that image?

Read binary data and store it in the image object? I am not sure if this will work. Just a wild suggestion.

I stand corrected ... It does seem that it's possible. Have you visited the following site?
