I run a video site, but would like to watermark my videos. I have heard of Virtualdub, but I was looking for a alternative program? I dont care if it is a watermark in a corner which is constantly showing or it is a "full screen- message" that show my name of my site at start of video. Would really appreciate your help!

Thanks in advance!

In Premiere I created an image with my logo in the corner and the rest of it light green. Make sure the background color is not at all similar to any of the colors in your logo. Then you can use the chroma-key mask to cut out the logo. If you want a watermark you can then play with the transparancy. Place the image on the project pallette and size it for the length of your movie. I can't remember the exact menu language but right click on the image and it should be "video properties" or "masking" or something like that. Check out my profile of the videos on my site to see what I have done.

Your logo looking great at the videos - exactly what I meant! Could you please send a link the program "Premiere" you were talking about or give me the exact name of the program?
Would be very helpful!

You can go to Adobe.com and look under "video products". Or you can Google "Adobe Premiere".

I have created a template on a video with the titler in Premiere. How do I save/play the "whole" video (including the template/logo) in a windows media player?

You need to "Export" not "Save".

I do not have the program on this computer and my version may be two revs old but once you have the movie done, go to "File" then "Export" then either "Movie" for an avi or "Advanced Windows Media" for a wmv file.

Thanks again, I have exported but the file seems to be heavy. Originally the video was 1.5 mb - after the titler and the export 42 mb. Do you know a solution of this problem. BTW. I have the 1.5 version.

Adjust the quality of the image, you may be storing data you don't need. Usually you can reduce the image quality to about 65% without noticing any degradation. When you export to movie, go to "properties" then to "video properties". Again I am working from memory so my directions may not be exact. There should be a quality slider. If you need more quality move it up and if you need a smaller video move it down.

Also you can play with the codec. I like Sorenson but depending on whether your video has a lot of motion or colors or stills, others may work better.
