Holding Table Static in Fireworks MX 2004

I have created a design in Fireworks and cut up the design and exported it. So far it looks fine. I took the table it created and pasted in another 100% table that I created in Dreamweaver MX 2004. Again it looks exactly like I want.

Now the cell that is created for content looks fine, but when I started typing the table expands as I type instead of forcing the text to the next line. Does anyone know how I can hold the this cell static so that when I type or paste pictures etc. in there that is doesn't allow the cell to expand, which screws up my entire design.

Before you start typing, what (if anything) is between the <td> and </td> of the content cell? Do you perhaps have a spacer .gif in there which is being pushed about by your input?

In Dreamweaver:
when you select the cell, one of the properties of the cell is "No Wrap."

Perhaps you need to uncheck that?

Plz change the table width to pixels instead of % i hope it works
