.smi files and Firefox

Hi,

I cant seem to get Firefox, Opera or Mozilla to recognise .smi files for closed captioning. Is this possible or will I have to create SMIL files instead?

I haven't used the .smi extension, I have though used .smil with much success, though it's been a while.

have you tried switching to .smil?

No I havent tried .smil yet. I'm looking at a tutorial as we speak...:-)
