Anyone here know how to get the spanish letter that looks like a letter 'n' with a ~ on top in photoshop? I know how to make a copyright symbol in photoshop using the number pad, but I don't remember how I figured out to do that now.

I guess I can always make the n and ~ in separate layers, but anyone knows how to do it another way I'd really appreciate that. This is on a window OS, by the way.

Thanks!

With the text tool selected, hold down the ALT key and hit 165 (or 164)

You need the character map. I go to Word, then Insert ¦ Symbol. You just have to look for the right symbol in the right character set. Select it and word will insert it into your document. Select the character, copy and paste it into Photoshop. I don't know if there is an easier way but this works for me.

On a windows system,
Press Start
Select Run
Type charmap

I would pick a font such as arial and look for the character desired. The keystroke combo is in the lower right hand corner.

Try ALT+0209 Ñ for caps or Alt+0241 ñ for lower case

May as well make an icon for it, now that you have used charmap...

I would but I change computers more than I use the character map. Besides, why worry about international users? Those foreigners have a different word for everything.

ROFL
<Slightly off topic>
Reminds me of when I first moved to Spain, my 6 year old daughter (now 23 and making me a grandad in 2 weeks) wondered why the Spanish didn't speak English, she thought it would be easier all round :)
She is now a translator and her older sister is waiting for her masters degree for Spanish/English interpreter. Guess they got the hang of it in the end......

As to Ñ, I use a Spanish keyboard, it has every accent for any language.
