needing help synchronizing multimedia & powerpoint slides in browser

I am student in need of help in locating an application/code/infomation that could help me synchronise real-time video+audio with powerpoint slides in a browser window.

I am trying to see if I can create my own small e-learning application

Welcome to WebmasterWorld cinta,

we used to do it with real player and .smil files, been a while though so I don't really remember all the specifics. We did broadcasting and sync'ed the powerpoints the presenters were showing with the live feed.
