A client just sent me a couple graphics in a .mix file format. From some Googling around, I believe this is a proprietary file format of some scanner. Anyway, I haven't found any way to open these things. Windows does understand how to display them - I tried to insert the graphics into a Word document and they displayed properly as thumbnails in the "Locate Picture" dialog box. But Word won't insert them, and I don't have a graphics program that will handle these files.
Any ideas on how I can get these things opened so as to convert the format to .jpg?
(I thought about doing a screenshot of the thumbnails, but they were way to small that . . . )
