Doing it for a college class, in which I am doing a presentation using Director MX. How do I take a few minutes of a DVD and turn it into quicktime. Thanks

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Ziggy33 If you are trying to take it from a commercial DVD, it would have to be decrypted first, something I am not obliged to go in to. If it royalty free somehow, there is a lot of software that will convert it to a lot of formats, but more usually mpeg and avis. If you convert it to these formats, further conversion to quicktime is a standard setting in most video editing software. If it is going to be a little lo rez clip, you might want to consider screen capturing it as a .mov and route the sound back round through your line input. HTH
