Any advice appreciated.
Have you considered reversing the image mouseover effect? (a little OT, sorry). I think the non-hover images with a (light) blue filter and hover images with vibrant colour would grab me more.

pps. Him - I put the brighter images as default and the darker as 'mouse-over' so that the page looks more attractive overall (well, in my opinion anyway). Feedback appreciated.
That would be the question, wouldn't it? ;) If it is a cache problem, the reason it wouldn't occur on any of our browsers is simply because we've never visited the site before, and therefore our browsers wouldn't have loaded the images into cache before...
Not sure at all why a logo with no links or functionality would do that.
Will have a play and see if anything abnormal occurs with your icon
