slow page transition

i havent uploaded my web site but when i switch to my movies page( i have ten poster movies on it) the quick time plugin is slow

how can i fix it but still have my quick clip movies open in its own player?

should i keep the poster movies or offer a image linking the files as a download?

will this make transitioning to my movies page faster?
