Hi,
I am a marketing guy but need to be able to give some downloads in pdf or .doc from my site
Could someone point me in the right direction for the simple instructions

Put the file up on the server and create a link pointing directly to the file....that's all it takes.

I'd also make it clear that the file is a pdf and give an indication of its size. It's just good manners really. Marketing is always asking me to put up pdf's for download, so now my log files are full of 206 partial download response codes. Do try to keep the files small.
