how do i match color of flash and photoshop,i pick the same colors used in photoshop in my flash intros, but when i render the fla file and insert the swf file in html pages, there is a color difference, can anyone help me in this regards.

Hi,

Use the same color picker (you can find some free color picker on the web) for both software. (I do not use Photoshop, so I can not help you much)

Also, use safe color (it 's simplier and you are pretty use to get the same color)

Try not to use color background, you 'd better use transparency (no color) as the same problem will appear in your web page (background HTML different that Flash background or picture bg).

You can modify in the HTML file the background color of your Flash object (in the object tag). This could help also.

To expand on the colour picker suggestion above

I would take down the hexidemical value for each and then match your colours exactly.

Or you could import your Photoshop customized color swatches in Flash...

I have matched the colors up to what I thought was perfect only to discover that if i switched my monitor to a different colour depth then they look different again.

I couldnt find a way to get the colours to match in JPGs and Flash at both 24 bit and 32 bit colour.
