I have some thoughts about creating an manual on a cd and on Internet, i want it to look profesional and i want it like a move with sound, that shows how to use a prog and the favours i have.

I think i will have less phonecalls? if i can explane it on internet with that movie, and i think its a good idea to send them a cd when they are using the product, and they should also be able to download the file and look at it on the net in live.

Anyone that have any experience of a similiar sitiuation? or maybe i over woerk this things :-)

I'd gamble that making a movie would be a huge headache and that people would prefer a "manual" they can do a text search on. Why not just use text/images? Uses a lot less space, too (consider your bandwidth bill if nothing else).

consider a couple of routes..

you can create help files, in the standard help file format.

you can use a program to demonstrate the program with some suggestions from this thread: [webmasterworld.com...]

you can create your own with a program like multimedia builder (mediachance.com). i can recommend this one as ive used it for about 3 years. they just released a new version as well. its pretty much a point-and-click presentation program, but you can get heavier into the scripting options if you care too. around $99 (when i got it). check the examples to see if this is something worth trying for your purposes.
