I really like the dotted border box that hotels.tld has on their index page down below the fold. Bewarned that I am still new to graphic design, as being thrown into it by my employer. Any tips on getting started?

You can do this easily with CSS.

Check google for dotted or dashed border CSS. This will help you

I can't find the page you are talking about tho' - It might be a help to see it -I think you'd probably get away with a http*// link.

Thanks limbo,
The page in question is ht*p://hotels.com and the boxes are below the fold. They are very faint, but they're there. I'd like to do something of that nature, but more prominent.

A-ha the reason I couldn't see it was a redirect to UK TLD ;)

So I followed the US link.

The only way I found to do this using firworks4 is a bit of hack - draw a rectangle with rounded corners. Then select the rectangle tool and toggle the texture settings in the stroke menu to grid (1-7)or until you have border you are happy with. You might have to play to get the desired effect. If you resize it you might want to stick to muliples of the grid width as this will resize the dotted lines with cleaner effect.

I have a feeling the MX would probably allow you to do this far less crudely.
