convert .dir file to a .fla file

I would like to ask how can i convert a file which was created by using Director 8 into Flash. What should i do to upload the .swf file?

ramsis, that's not possible to do. you can integrate an .swf into a .dir file but not vice-versa.

So i have a .dcr file and the .html which was created automatically when i pressed "publish" the .dir file. When i tried to upload the .dcr file the message i got was ".dcr not uploaded, invalid file type". What kind of files are needed apart from html?
