Viewing region specific adwords

I'm wondering several things. I'm from Australia so when I visit google I get automatically redirected to www.google.com.au
Is it possible to stop redirection somehow?
Also is it possible to view adwords as they would appear to a viewer in another region, like the US for example?

I have consulted with GoogleGuy on the 'redirection' question and he says that in the lower right (of your .au interface) there should be a link that says "Go to Google.com "

If you click there, it will change a setting in your cookie to turn off country redirects.

anonymizer works for seeing the ads on Google but have noticed it does not work for Adsense sites as anonymizer seems to disable java or at least it does for the free version.
