When I just logged-in to Adwords, there was a message saying that in ten minutes they were going down for 40 minutes. When I checked one of my Ad Campaigns, it clearly showed a $10 daily budget limit, yet my stats showed the campaign was well over $150 for the day. I hope they fix this soon, or I will have to disable some of my ads before I run out of money :)

I noticed an overage on one of my ads too, today. Luckily it's on the order of a couple of dollars instead of a couple hundred.
But enjoy those free clicks! :)

Your daily cost is averaged out over the month. Some days it will be high, other days much lower. Anything over the budget you have set for the month is free.
