Google API Update?

If so, thanks for letting us all know.

Hi All,

I've got a suspicion (yet to be confirmed by a Google Rep) that Google made some minor changes to their AdWords API.

My daily Cronjobs failed a few hours ago and when I ran them manually I received the following error:

FAULT: 1

Code: soapenv:Server.userException

String: The requested version is no longer supported. Please upgrade your application to a more recent version of the API.

Detail:

Of course there were no details.

Google has been warning us of this version upgrade for many months now. Keep visiting the website below to keep yourself updated with the latest on the API

Hi.

I'm just starting to develop my Ap, and ran into the same error today.

Is there nothing we can do except sit and wait?

How do we get the proper version?

As some of you will probably know, the AdWords API is not an area of particular expertise for me. However, I did ping a colleague to pass on the feedback from this thread, and was given some useful information that I'd like to pass on:

* All official communications about API launches, sunsets, bugs, etc are posted to two online Support Resources, as listed on the left hand side of the AdWords API Home page - which was linked to, above, by inasisi.

* In addition, please be aware of the API Announcements email list. All critical announcements that could impact the operation of your API systems, are sent to this email list as well. More info at the link below.

What is the AdWords API mailing list?

I hope that'll help to keep you up-to-date.

Hi AWA.

Thanks for posting.

I had already searched those resources for an answer to this question. I don't see anything relevant there.

Donal, if you don't mine, I would love it if you would post here when you get a resolution from Google.

Sincere thanks.

Hey,

Larry - My Google Rep has informed me that no major changes have been made recently... Blah blah blah.

I was using the very first version on the API so i think its some function that has recently been depreciated.

I think I’m on my own on this one.

AWA - Thanks for looking into this for me.
