Adwords displaying on the Weather Chanel site?

I was just looking over the stats of one of my sites and I noticed a large number of referals from the Weather Channel site. We don't pay for inclusion there and only use Adwords for pay per click. I noticed the Google search banner at the bottom of the pages which I didn't notice before. Is this something new, or just new to me?

I have not seen our ad or info display on any of the refering links, but how else would visitors get to my site from the weather channel?

The Weather Channel is a content partner of Google and displays AdWords.

You can choose to be lsited with content sites in your campaign settings.

This has beeing going on for quite a while.
