Wondering if those of you that are advertising with google adwords can help me with this question.

I recently got indexed into google free engine. At the moment I am getting some but not nearly enough traffic to help me get my business off the ground.

Will google adwords help me get that additional traffic that I need to get those sales.

I can only afford the min cpc. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi
I would suggest to get off the block, try google adwords.
SEO is a long term investment.

Before anything just do research on keywords, use tools like

1.Wordtracker
2.Google keyword suggestion :
[adwords.google.com...]
3.Overture search suggestion tool:
[inventory.overture.com...]
4.Espotting keyword suggestion tool.
[espotting.com...]

After you get good number of keywords try to see if you can afford to spend for any keyword. You can plan your budget accordingly.Try to spend least and get maximum.

You can plan your budget properly for one month, now with the freshdeepbot, perhaps the time it takes for your new site be indexed with proper incoming links can be very short( may be a week.)
Submit in DMOZ, speak to the editors there.
Hope this helps,

Am I guaranteed 1st page exposure on my ads with adwords?

Yes, your ads will appear on the 1st page, if your bidding price is right.
It depends on your bidding price.

Second do through research on keywords ,it will take a day but it will produce enormous benifits.

Thanks Again Aravindgp

One last thing. I have already done the keyword search previously.

My business contains only one particular product. The keyword I want to use is very popular as well as very competitive.

My website has received very good reviews from professionals in the business and I currently have a PR4.

There is about 20,000 searches a day on this keyword.

How do I maximize my veiwing and ROI results.

I know if my website is found it will get sales. Right now I am only getting 300 visits a day. I figure in order to get the sales I need I am looking to push that number up to 1000+ visits a day.

What would you suggest in this situation? Also does adwords work well with you? Thanks.

Question: Does adwords get you more traffic?

No, around 95% less, but we dont throw money around and we only advertise our commercial site and a specific selling page.

Question: Does adwords get better conversions?

Yes, around 95% better. We think it is because adwords clickers are primed to buy (hot prospects), normal listing clickers are information seekers

Question: Does adwords get better ROI

possibly.. we havent done a full analysis.

That's a great website "if found will get sales.".I suggest if you are looking at short term, adwords are great, as you are saying the site if found will get sales, then it's better to go for adwords.

Will you be able to 1000+ again it depends on bidding price, may be you can start observing patterns of when the visitors are coming to your site, what kinda of searches they are using.Few sites get good weekend traffic , few sites dont get weekend traffic, start working closely on traffic patterns and based on the product. Then bid prices and keep close watch on your converting keywords.

>>My business contains only one particular product. The keyword I want to use is very popular as well as very competitive.
If you cannot bid so high ,just bid for second best term,I am sure you would have come across few terms by now.

You may use exact match [] for your keyword phrase to reduce the risk of getting number of non-converting clicks.

However I personally like large number of less bidded keywords because I belive small keywords bring wide variety and hence if the site is good , then these visitors come back directly and make a purchases, though this is my own theory.
