AOL and EarthLink

How long till my adwords starts showing up in results?

I just created an adwords campaign. How long does it take to start showing up at AOL and Earthlink?

I believe my ad words showed up on Earthlink within 24 hours... I don't recall exactly but it could have been immediate.

As for AOL, my ad (or anybody elses) still doesn't show up there for reasons known only to AOL.

In my experience it takes up to a week or so to get on AOL. Then, every time you make ANY changes, it's another week or so to get back on. The problem comes when the ad works with Google guidelines but not AOL. I've found it best to contact Google if it hasn't shown up in a week, and then they can tell you why it's not showing up on AOL

The first time I submitted to Adwords. It took
a week and I got rejected (had a pop under I
was trying to sneak in).

I fixed it, and it took less than an hour to get
on AOL.

Maybe the editorial review is done by an automated
system that checks a series of rules, and if you
violate a rule, its gets deferred for a manual
review.

Or maybe I was just lucky the second time. Anybody have the same experience.

When mine was approved, it was done by a person. They tried to have me change the wording of my ad (they just didn't realize what our products were), and said if I did it, they would approve it. I told them why what I was saying was valid, and they approved it immediately.

I have a similar experience (AOL showing up in about a week).
This is kind of frustrating since every change sets me back
a week (particularly so because once I get on AOL, my CTR jumps
from 2% to 4%)
