Did Google send you a mini-fridge when you bought a million clicks

They did me, but funny thing is I'm nearing 6 million

i got a mini-fridge from google this week and a certificate / letter talking about my buying a million leads (they call it leads)

i'm just a regular advertiser so i guess leads = clicks

anyways it's nice gift, has the G logo on the front door and says Adwords, Cooler Thinking.

Odd thing about it is my all time button on my account shows me nearing 6 million

maybe they need a new bean counter or maybe don't go back that far in counting as this account is over 4 years old

i think i'll snail mail the lady whose name is on the letter at G and ask for a new cert with 5 mil and see what explanation they give (if any)

In a more serious note, this may be sometihng they were holding back on for when they got bad press, like recently about the huge CPC increases. There is no such thing as coincidence.

I wonder if you get it regardless of how much your clicks cost. 1 million clicks at $1 is a little different than at 5 cents :)

I am at just under 4 million clicks and have not received any gift. Perhaps it is because it is only an average 5 cents per click or that I am in Canada.

The fridge is pretty lame so if you didn't get one don't worry, you aren't missing much. I's loud and doesn't get very cold. And it never turns off. It sounds like a server. I think maybe Google actually put a small data center into each fridge. I'm not sure why though, still theorizing on it..

The fridge is hooked up to their new wifi networks and is counting the amount of beer you drink. The data will be sold to the breweries, eeek.

We just received ours, but we are up to 4.5M clicks. Maybe they it is for 1M clicks, but it is actually based on spend? (Our per click costs are low)

Got one for an account with 1M + clicks almost all at about $0.05 so it doesn't seem like the CPC has a lot to do with it.

It should be on it's way. This is a brand new program, gc43 (and others), and we're playing catch up with folks who have already hit the million. BTW, a million seemed like such a nice round number - and we wanted to honor all y'all. Thanks for being long-time AdWords advertisers.
