Hi,
for an adgroup where i run a quite successful ad, i created an additional second ad. Text is similar to the first one, just 2 minor changes.
What wonders me is that the new ad doesn't get presented to the public. since yesterday, when i set it up, the other ad was shown more than 2,000 times with a CTR of 1.7%.
What could be the reason? I don't use any brand names or trademarks, have correct spelling etc. and ad optimization is switched off.

Any help is much appreciated.

You could be using a term in your ad from a rather long, secret list Google maintains that cause the ad not to show at all pending human review.

It's not just the obviously controversial or adult terms either that trigger this flag. 'war' for instance will keep you off pending human review.

Again, that example was just one of many, many, many terms used in either ads or as keywords that will keep it off until sometime during the week when a person reviews it.

Same is the case with me, I even email adword support and they respond that they review each ads and targetting site manually. And the ads started working very next day to it. But now again I am facing same problem and again emailed them , no answer till now. May be tomarrow I will get reply.

Hi folks,
just wanted to let you know that the ad started to show this afternoon. Since it is sunday today, I don't think there was a human review.

Thanks for your input and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Adwords seem to be *extremely* slow at approving ads at the moment. It took well over a week to get my 'flagship' ad approved for my new website - the satellite ads I created to target other pages are still sitting there at 0 clicks 0 impressions.

So much for 'Your ads show up on Google almost instantly.'

Hi Christh,

Are you using normal google target search or content search?

if using google search i think it's almost instantly. except for some cases my ad didnt appear in google untill page 30 even though i put $1.

and from page 1 to page 30 i only show the two same ad but not mine. dont know why.
