Traffic or Reports slow today?

Anyone else noticing that either the reports are a little staler or traffic is much lower than usual today?

Yes, very much so. I have had my largest volume ad in one of my campaigns move to 'not showing due to CTR being below 0.5%' even though the CTR is 4% (at position 4.5)!

So a 10,000 impression a day keyword dropped to a tiny fraction of that. I'd check to see if you have any anomolies like that.

Yes,

Lots of impressions, fewer clicks in campaigns that generally perform the same way consistently. According to Google, they tally impressions faster than clicks, (or do I have that reversed!).

Hope it's just slow and will catch up later!

I have seen exactly the same. Consistent solid keywords yesterday at 20% of the impressions to the day before.

Is this what you were referring to Kings on steeds?

Lower than normal click (and conversion) levels the past 3 days for me.

Just a note - Yesterday I found evidence of a fast spreading virus on my host server. It had rewritten all of my index.htm files with an encrypted script that could not be read. My pages would load, but it would take them 5 to 10 seconds longer to load, causing my CTR to go way down - as well as my conversion rate. Thankfully I had a backup of everything, and erased it all and replaced it with the backup.

I'm not sure what else was loading along with my webpages, because the source code could not be read.

i still hv the issue.

at first i thought there was a problem in my campaign.. then i pause it.
the previous day my impression was 250.000. today my impression after i resume it for 12 hours only 7.

any idea?

Couldn't run reports yesterday. And was having trouble the day before that too. Haven't tried today.

there is a flurry of discussion at the adsense forum regarding adding certain websites to the competitive ad filter (blocklist). is your decline of traffic only on the content network? if so, maybe your site is being blocked by a bunch of adsense publishers.
