Ok - I've been doing my fair share of complaining about Google glitches over the last few days. This evening however, I just received google editor. This is going to make my life much easier. Assuming it works, it looks to be a beautiful piece of software.

Way to go google - easier money for us, means easier money for you.

What is a google editor?

Yes, dumb question. I'm a social worker, don't shoot me.

Just FYI - to use the editor, an NDA must be signed by the party receiving the download as it's a beta test product. Google is continuing to receive feedback to increase its functionality, and to learn exactly how people are going to use it.

I would recommend keeping an eye on Inside AdWords and AdWords announcements for this product. However, I doubt there will be a lot of public comments about it due to the NDAs that were signed by the testing parties.

I'm not sure how I got an invitation - other than maybe the load of money I pump into the system.

But this program alows you to make changes to your campaign (even in bulk) offline, then upload it to your account.

It will help people like me, who are very unorganized.

I found the Google Editor to be very buggy. It hung my computer three times. I am not going to touch it again till they come out with the next version

Does Adword Editor consume API quota?

Caution that posting an answer would probably violate the NDA. :(

Unless, of course, somebody came across this from a public source, and/or has knowledge of this without being subject to the NDA. :)

I wouldn't think a product released from google that is used for a google pay service would use up allotted API calls.

If it does, I'm selling my google stock - they're morons.

Just passing through on my way to other tasks, with a quick answer to the following question:

Does Adword Editor consume API quota?

No, the AdWords Editor does not consume API quota.
