This for the Destination URL. I have to have something wrong. I've sent 1500 visitors to the merchant in the last week with not one sale. It's a children's item and I did ok with them last year. Last year traffic converted reasonably well but this year nothing. Per CJ EPC figures I should be making $50.00 to $60.00 daily easily.
Do I at least have this part right? The destination url?
Thanks.
I have mixed results when sending traffic to CJ merchants. I know my conversion rate for one merchant will shift from 0% a day to 25% conversion rate, based on load times of their servers. Which is a variable far out of my reach. It is crap that I have to deal with it, but overall I still make money from the merchant, so I cannot complain too much.
My suggestion to you is to:
- test your links
- Re-evaluate your keyword choices
- Maybe mention the price in the ad copy? (pre-qualify the users)
- Add SID's to each keyword (to track individual performance)
- Make sure you are not in the content network on AdWords
- Consider this item/merchant as a bust, and find a new one.

Thanks for the guidance. The link works in that if I paste it into my browser then it redirects to the merchant's site. I'm just not 100% sure CJ would credit me with any sale. However, I'm sure enough that it's an effective link that around the time you posted I went ahead and switched to Merchant B.
Smaller sales/commissions With Merchant B but 10% of larger theoretical sales is not quite as good as 5% of some [smaller] actually completed sales from Merchant B. I already had a few small sales from B but now I'm attempting to direct the bulk of my daily traffic to this Merchant B. We'll see what happens. Maybe B can convert my traffic.
I double checked and the content network was already turned off but appreciate the reminder.
