From our click tracking system, we are seeing the following referring URL's from AOL:
1) aolsearch.aol.com 2) search.aol.com
Does anyone have an idea what is the difference between these 2 syndication URL's?
My thinking is #1 might be an actual search on AOL, and #2 might be a further syndication from its partners.

It could be further syndication, it also could be the same seach spider from another one of their servers. Just in case the site/server has blocked AOL from spidering it. This ensures AOL that their search strings are still up to par, and a way around people who block their content from an AOL spider.
