Question about Keywords

Any help much appreciated!

I'm wondering if anything thinks there's any point in having a larger KW list than what seems necessary. For example, if I had the following KW list:

new business opportunity
great business opportunity
business opportunity for you today
time for a new business opportunity

For the sake of keeping it clean and simple, is there any reason to not just replace all of those with "business opportunity" which would trigger on any of those search terms?

Only you can answer that question. Do you want your ads to show for any type of "business opportunity"?

I personally would keep the refined terms just to I could insert them as dynamic keywords.

If you go for a phrase like "business opportunity" on its own don't forget to add negative keywords like free, etc.
